Edward Lee, the founder and owner of other highly respected seafood manufacturers and distributors, joined forces with Corkey Robin, also known as the “Oysterman”. Corkey has been in the oyster business for nearly his entire life and has spent decades mastering the art and business of harvesting oysters and turning them into sought after products that exceed the highest standards of quality. His deep knowledge of the oyster business and Louisiana oysters, makes Segnette Oyster Company a trusted name in the business.
We source our oysters from some of the most fertile areas in the Gulf, typically from Areas 1 through 13 of the Louisiana Shellfish Harvest Areas.
